These terms cover your use of the BloomySeeds Garden Companion, the free web tool at this site. The shop itself is at bloomyseeds.com and has its own terms.

The app

The Garden Companion is a free tool to help you plan and look after an Irish garden. We do our best to keep it accurate and available, but we can't promise it will never have a glitch or be offline for maintenance.

Gardening advice

The calendar and diagnosis advice is general guidance for Irish growing conditions. Gardens differ, weather differs, and we can't guarantee a result. Use your own judgement, especially before eating anything you've grown or treating a plant.

Buying seeds

Product links take you to bloomyseeds.com, where any purchase is made. Prices there are shown including VAT. The sale, payment, delivery and returns are all handled by the shop under its own terms.

Using the app fairly

Please don't try to break, overload, or misuse the app, and don't scrape or copy the content for your own commercial use without asking.

Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms takes away your statutory rights. Under the Irish Consumer Rights Act 2022, anything you buy must match its description, be fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. For online orders you also have a 14-day cooling-off period under EU and Irish distance selling rules. See our returns policy.

Liability

We're not liable for losses that aren't a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms, but we don't exclude anything the law doesn't allow us to, including your statutory consumer rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland.
